Oleksandr Biryukov comments on establishment of the new bankruptcy institute

“The Code on Bankruptcy Procedures is a step towards bringing Ukrainian legislation in line with the international standards and fulfilling country’s obligations to the IMF. We have practically completed the establishment of a comprehensive bankruptcy framework – bankruptcy proceedings will become available to almost every member of the civil society (legal entity or individual) who has problems with high indebtedness, and will help solving them,” said Oleksandr Biryukov, counsel at LCF Law Group in matters of the new institution of bankruptcy for ordinary citizens.
