On March 22, the International Advisers Association holds an online meeting dedicated to the Draft Law on Auto-exchange of Information on Financial Accounts.
The authors of draft law #8131, Vita Forsiuk and Denys Siyushov, will participate in the event as speakers, moderated by Andriy Reun, LCF partner, Head of tax law practice.
The agenda:
- The deadlines for financial agents to submit the first report on accountable accounts to the State Tax Service;
- Minimum account balance for auto-exchange;
- List of CRS data for auto-exchange;
- The way that the State Tax Service will process CRS data from financial agents and foreign tax authorities. The probability that the STS will pass this data to law enforcement.
- Presumptions of dual residency;
- Penalties under the CRS;
- Attorney-client privilege vs. auto-exchange.
