Iryna Kobets will moderate the session of the XII Annual Conference of Corporate Lawyers, UBA
After russia’s full-scale invasion, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine banned transactions in favor of individuals and companies connected with the aggressor. The list of sanctioned entities by Ukraine and/or partner countries are constantly updating.
Therefore, sanctioned clients and vendors (even former ones) turn as significant legal and reputational risks for businesses. The demand for compliance audit services is growing in Ukraine and worldwide.
The final session of the XII Annual Conference of Corporate Lawyers, “Relations with counterparties in conditions of war,” will be moderated by Iryna Kobets, Counsel, Head of Litigation of LCF Law Group.
The issues to be highlighted are:
– Moratorium on the execution of contracts with counterparties related to the aggressor;
– Updated approaches to compliance control;
– Business policies in case a counterparty is included in the list of sanctioned entities or identified as an international sponsor of war by NACP.
The event will take place in May, 25.
