Maksym Sheverdin took part in discussion about reforming law enforcement agencies
On March 28, Ukrainian Bar Association’s Committee on Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law together with the Prosecutor General’s Office carried out a presentation and discussion of the Comprehensive Strategic Plan for Reforming Law Enforcement Agencies as Part of the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine for 2023-2027.
The reform plan was presented by Oleksiy Bonyuk, Head of the Criminal Policy and Investment Protection Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The discussion was moderated by Maksym Sheverdin, Partner at LCF Law Group, Head of white-collar crime practice, member of the UBA Committee.
The presented document was developed as a roadmap for harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with EU legislation in the field of criminal law policy and prevention of criminal offenses.
