We are pleased to announce the vacancy of Associate at Energy & Projects practice.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in a law firm or in-house in the areas of Energy, Construction, Real Estate and Projects
- Experience in drafting legal texts and written advice
- Knowledge of administrative, civil, economic, competition, energy, and land law
- English – Upper Intermediate and above
- Developed analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks, client orientation
- Desire to develop and grow professionally in the energy and infrastructure sectors
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working on client projects, preparing legal documents (opinions, contracts, etc.) in the areas of Energy, Construction, Real Estate and Projects
- Providing written and oral advice to clients in Ukrainian and English;
- Participation in due diligence of infrastructure and energy projects
- Representation of clients in interaction with regulatory authorities
- Participation in strategic meetings with clients/potential clients, independent conduct of working meetings and ongoing meetings with clients;
- Managing and organizing the work of subordinate junior colleagues
- Collaboration with colleagues from other practices (litigation, corporate, tax, etc.) on current projects, clients/potential clients (“cross-selling”), as well as development of new and/or updating of current products;
- Generating ideas for new products/new clients/practice areas and discussing them with partners;
- Participation in marketing and business development events, conferences and seminars (including expert presentations or panel discussions); Publications in leading analytical and business publications.

Requirements
- Complete higher legal education (master’s degree) from a Ukrainian university;
- High level of computer literacy (search databases, registries, social networks);
- Willingness to work in the office full time;
- English – upper intermediate and above;

Responsibilities
- Research;
- Assistance in the preparation of purchase and sale agreements, shareholder agreements/corporate agreements, letters of intent, option agreements and other transactional documents;
- Participation in the development and implementation of best corporate governance practices;
- Participation in legal support of current corporate issues (convening and holding shareholders’ meetings/meetings of the supervisory board, management board and other bodies, preparation of meeting minutes);
- Participation in projects involving collective investment institutions (corporate and mutual funds);

We are pleased to announce the vacancy of Senior Associate at White-Collar Crime, Anti-Corruption & Compliance.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- A lawyer’s license
- 5+ years of experience in defense and representation in criminal proceedings (pre-trial and trial proceedings)
- Develop and implement comprehensive defense strategies in economic crime cases: tax offenses, embezzlement, abuse of power, money laundering, etc.
- Practical experience in handling complex anti-corruption cases (National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine, The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, The High Anti- Corruption Court), particularly in high-profile and media cases
- Drafting procedural documents, legal opinions, consultations
- English — Upper-Intermediate or higher
- Results-oriented, client-focused, ability to work under intense pressure
Your job responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to protect clients’ interests during pre-trial investigations and court proceedings;
- Representing clients’ interests in court and before law enforcement agencies;
- Analyzing and preparing legal advice, conclusions, memoranda, etc.;
- Drafting legal documents related to defense in criminal proceedings;
- Communicating and corresponding with clients;
- Offline work in Kyiv.
