“Jurisdiction battle: where to structure in 2025?”

On 22 August, the International Advisers Association will host a meeting for foreign business owners and advisers: “Jurisdiction battle: where to structure in 2025?”

The discussion will be moderated by Andriy Reun, Head of Tax at LCF Law Group.

The agenda will focus on the most pressing questions of international structuring in 2025. Speakers will compare operating and holding companies in the US and the UK, explore preferential tax regimes in Bulgaria and Romania, and assess the advantages of Cyprus holding benefits. They will also address operating structures in Estonia and Latvia with their tax on distributed profits, as well as non-domiciled regimes available in the UK, Portugal, Israel, and Cyprus.

Further attention will be given to shareholder axation in Germany and Turkey, opportunities in the UAE, and the practicalities of opening accounts in AAA-rated international banks.

Finally, the discussion will touch upon the strategic choice of tax residency for owners of international groups aiming to minimize taxation of foreign income.

The working language of the meeting is Ukrainian.
