LCF supported launch of the PV-powerplant
On May 7, Scatec Solar and partners have started commercial operation at the 54 MW Boguslav-2 PV-powerplant in Ukraine, less than ten months after closing of the project financing.
We also took part in this launch – LCF Law Group has provided full legal support in the regulatory procedures required for the commercial operation of the project: licensing, designation of the ‘feed-in’ tariff, obtaining of the standing of a participant in the electricity market and PPA execution. Beside that we advised on construction, commissioning, and grid connection legal matters.
The power plant is located in Boguslav, Kyiv region, owned by the Norwegian company Scatec Solar Solutions. SES capacity is 54 MW. The solar plant will provide clean energy to about 27,000 households.
The project was led by Ivan Bondarchuk, counsel and head of energy and natural resources practice, and associate Kateryna Andarak.
