Ivan Bondarchuk attended the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk
Ivan Bondarchuk, Partner at LCF Law Group and First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (UWEA), attended the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk.
URC is one of the key international platforms where governments, businesses, financial institutions and Ukraine’s partners discuss recovery, reconstruction, investment and project delivery. This year, energy, critical infrastructure, security and the role of private capital in Ukraine’s recovery were among the central topics of the conference.
Against this backdrop, distributed generation, renewable energy, energy storage and local energy solutions are becoming increasingly important elements of Ukraine’s future energy landscape. They contribute not only to energy security and resilience, but also to the development of a more decentralised and flexible energy system capable of meeting the country’s long-term needs.
Investor interest in Ukraine’s energy sector remains strong. The priority now is to convert that interest into concrete investments, financed projects and completed assets. Achieving this requires a coordinated approach that brings together developers, investors, financial institutions, policymakers and legal advisers.
Legal structuring plays a critical role throughout this process. It helps align commercial objectives with investor expectations, establish effective risk allocation mechanisms and create a practical framework for project implementation. Supporting clients through these challenges remains a key focus of LCF Law Group’s work in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
We are grateful to the organisers and fellow participants for a substantive discussion in Gdańsk and the opportunity to contribute to the conversation on Ukraine’s energy future.
