Kopachi
One of the artworks that adorn LCF’s offices is the piece by Oleg Grishchenkox “Kopachi” – painting created in 2012, canvas, mixed technique, 160×120 cm. “Kopachi” was first presented as part of the visual art project by the art centre Ya Gallery – Neofolk project in GOGOLFEST – 2012. The work depicts creation of a new mythology with its own new symbolic language – the result not only of author’s spontaneous intuitive expression but equally of a thought-through strategy for steering his creativity. We see energy and repetition, brightness and adornments, openness to experiments.
