Oleksandr Biryukov
Dr. Oleksandr Biryukov is a highly reputed legal consultant with 30 years of legal experience working for both state and private organisations. He has a 20-year experience of consulting international organisations, including USAID, TACIS/European Commission, the World Bank, IMF, EBRD, DFID.
Dr. Biryukov is an esteemed expert in international private and commercial law, bankruptcy and restructuring including cross-border bankruptcy. Cross-border bankruptcy is a relatively new practice in the Ukrainian legal market, but is already in high demand by corporate clients.
Dr. Biryukov is a member of a number of working groups established for developing international legal documents, including model laws. Most recently, he participated in the working group on the development of the new Bankruptcy Code of Ukraine.
