Petro Bevza was born in 1963 in the village of Shpytky in the Kyiv region. In 1985 he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (now the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture). He has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1990.
He lives and works in Kyiv.
