The artist created a unique painting masterpiece literally on an artifact of war.
Heroic Ukrainian soldiers collected from the very heat of battle the lids of the transport and launch containers of Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, which are knocked out during the launch of a missile. And these covers became an unusual basis for real paintings. By the way, all the artifacts were directly used during the combat operations to protect the Ukrainian sky by our artillery soldiers.
Anton Logov is a Ukrainian abstract artist, the only artist-teacher of the subject “installation” at the School of Contemporary Art, one of the Kyiv authors who has been creating works dedicated to the war in Ukraine from the very beginning.
“In my series of works there is a reaction to the events of today. There are paintings in which some images emerged from my imagination, and there are those compositions that are related to the history of art. Sometimes I create transformations to the works of Picasso, Munch, Malevich and other artists,” says Anton Logov.
